Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF)
PRF (Platelet Rich Fibrin) is a cutting-edge, completely natural aesthetic treatment and is a more advanced form of Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP). PRF is made by drawing a small amount of blood, which is separated out using our centrifuge. PRF is then extracted and re-injected into the face or scalp to heal and rejuvenate aging skin or dormant hair follicles. PRF contains a higher concentration of platelets, stem cells and a number of growth factors known to promote collagen production, the growth of new blood vessels and cellular repair; which is released over a longer period of time.
When Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF) is injected into the skin, due to its high concentration of platelets; instead of recirculating into the blood via the present blood vessels, a healing cascade is initiated, as the platelets become activated upon contact with fibroblasts within the skin.
